The right lamps for your dining room

Pendant lights & hanging lamps are the top choice for above the dining table: they provide targeted illumination for the table surface from above, create a cozy lighting atmosphere, and are also a decorative highlight. Round or rectangular tables – which shape fits?

A round table is usually best complemented by a single, round pendant light centered over the table. A long, rectangular table, on the other hand, suits an elongated pendant light or multiple round lights in a row that illuminate the entire length of the table evenly.

Round tables feel cozy and work well in smaller rooms. Oval tables offer more seating while maintaining a soft look. Rectangular tables are the classic choice for longer dining setups and can easily be combined with multiple pendant lights. Two or three pendant lights above the dining table
