GU10 Bulbs – The Standard for Spotlights
GU10 is the most commonly used base for recessed spotlights, ceiling spotlights and spots. The bayonet base with a 10 mm pin spacing is easy to twist and lock – robust, reliable, and widely used. At Saasil, you will find GU10 bulbs in all varieties: from energy-efficient LED versions and dimmable models to different beam angles for various lighting tasks.
Which GU10 bulb is the right one?
GU10 LED spots replace classic halogen GU10 lamps 1:1, saving up to 80% of energy. Available in power levels from 4 W to 8 W – providing the same brightness as former 50 W halogen lamps.
Dimmable GU10 LED spots are the best choice for living rooms, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Check for compatibility with your dimmer. You can find matching LED dimmers at Saasil.
Choosing beam angles: 36° for broad illumination, 24° for focused accent lighting. For the kitchen, wide-beam versions are recommended, while narrower angles are better for accent lighting.
For low-voltage spotlights with 12V systems, GU5.3 bulbs are recommended as an alternative.
