GU4, GZ4 & MR11 Bulbs – Compact mini-spots for 12V
GU4, GZ4 and MR11 are compact low-voltage bulbs for 12V systems – smaller than the common GU5.3 (MR16) spots, making them ideal for particularly space-saving fixtures, mini recessed spotlights, and decorative low-voltage systems. At Saasil, you will find these special sockets in LED versions as direct replacements for halogen lamps.
Important information for your purchase
Difference between GU4 / GZ4 / MR11: GU4 and GZ4 refer to the base type (4 mm pin spacing), while MR11 describes the reflector shape with a 35 mm diameter. In practice, these terms are often used synonymously – the crucial factor is that the base and diameter match your fixture.
Transformer required: All three sockets operate on 12V and require a suitable transformer. You can find compatible transformers & converters at Saasil.
Related sockets: For slightly larger 12V spots, we recommend GU5.3 bulbs (MR16). For the smallest pin-base applications, take a look at our G4 & G6.35 bulbs. You can find all other special sockets in our bayonet bulbs and other bulbs sections.
