G9 bulbs – compact & versatile for designer lamps

The G9 socket, with its characteristic two-pin base without a protective glass, is one of the most compact lamp bases – making it ideal for slim wall lamps, mirror lamps, and decorative designer lamps where space for the bulb is limited. At Saasil, you will find G9 LED bulbs as a direct replacement for classic G9 halogen lamps – energy-efficient, long-lasting, and transformer-free.

Important things to consider when buying G9 bulbs

Direct 230V operation: G9 bulbs run directly on 230V – no transformer required. This makes switching from halogen to LED particularly easy.

Note the design: G9 bulbs are available in various shapes – capsule, tube, or globe. Make sure the new bulb fits into the existing lamp housing, as space is often very limited.

Dimmability: Dimmable G9 LED bulbs are available but require an LED-compatible dimmer. You can find suitable LED dimmers at Saasil.

For slightly larger sockets in wall lamps, we recommend E14 bulbs or E27 bulbs, depending on the type of lamp.
