G4 & G6.35 bulbs – Small pin-base lamps for low-voltage systems
G4 and G6.35 are compact pin-base lamps for 12V low-voltage systems – most commonly found in cabinet lighting, decorative lighting, outdoor lights, and small spotlights. The difference lies in the pin spacing: G4 has 4 mm, while G6.35 has 6.35 mm. At Saasil, you will find both bases in LED versions as a direct, efficient replacement for classic halogen lamps.
Important information when buying
Transformer recommended: Both bases require a 12V transformer. When switching to LED, the transformer must be LED-compatible. You can find suitable transformers & converters and halogen transformers at Saasil.
Very compact design: G4 and G6.35 bulbs are particularly small and fit into lamps that do not have space for larger bases. Important: the dimensions of the LED replacement must fit the lamp.
Related bases: For slightly larger low-voltage spotlights, we recommend GU5.3 bulbs (MR16). For 230V systems, GU10 bulbs are the simpler choice.
