Paulmann transparent intermediate suspension for 12V cable systems at a glance
The Paulmann intermediate suspension for 12V cable systems is used for the additional stabilization of longer cable lighting installations. It supports the two parallel support cables from the ceiling and can thereby reduce visible sagging in larger spans or under heavier loads.
The suspension consists of a transparent acrylic rod and a similarly transparent nylon cord. This keeps the additional center suspension visually subtle, allowing it to blend unobtrusively into existing LED and halogen cable systems.
For 12V LED and halogen cable systems
The intermediate suspension is designed for 12V low-voltage cable systems with LED or halogen lighting. A key factor for compatibility is a distance of approximately 20 cm between the two parallel support cables.
This makes the accessory suitable for both retrofitting existing systems and as a replacement part for current cable lighting.
20 cm cable spacing
The acrylic rod features two side mounts for the support cables. The distance between these notches is approximately 20 cm.
Therefore, before installation, you should check whether the existing cable spacing of the lighting system matches these dimensions.
Transparent acrylic rod for a subtle look
The rod is made of transparent acrylic and is approx. 21 cm long. Due to its clear design, the additional holder remains visually understated within the open cable system.
The diameter of the acrylic rod is approx. 12 mm.
1 m nylon cord, individually adjustable
The set includes an approx. 1 m long transparent nylon cord. The height of the intermediate suspension can be individually adjusted to the specific installation situation via the length of the cord.
This allows the cable system to be supported so that the two support cables run as straight and evenly as possible.
Supports long or heavily loaded cable systems
In the case of long cable runs or multiple installed spots, the cable system may sag in the middle. The center suspension additionally supports the cables from above, thereby improving the stability of the entire construction.
It is therefore particularly suitable for larger installations or existing systems that require additional support.
Mounting set with hook and anchor
Attachment is performed via a screw hook with an anchor. The hook, including the anchor, is approx. 4 cm long and approx. 1.5 cm wide.
The acrylic rod, nylon cord, and mounting hardware are already included in the scope of delivery.
