The Briloner T8 light strip 6424-180 is an exposed ceiling light for workshops, garages, storage rooms, basements, and other functional indoor areas. With a length of approx. 62.5 cm, it offers a compact solution for areas requiring classic linear lighting.
The light strip is supplied with an 18 W T8 fluorescent tube from Osram. The bulb produces a luminous flux of 1,350 lumens and neutral white light at 4,000 Kelvin. Due to the open design, the light is emitted into the room without a closed diffuser cover.
Exposed light strip for workshop and garage
The open design makes the Briloner light strip a classic workshop lamp with a T8 fluorescent tube. The bulb is exposed within the housing, making it particularly suitable for functional rooms where straightforward and direct lighting is needed.

The included T8 fluorescent tube produces a luminous flux of 1,350 lumens. With a color temperature of 4,000 Kelvin, it creates neutral white light with a clear and functional lighting effect.
The color rendering index of Ra 80–89 supports a natural representation of colors and surfaces. This makes the light strip well-suited as workstation lighting at 4,000 Kelvin.
T8 fluorescent tube with G13 base
The Briloner light strip uses a T8 fluorescent tube with a G13 base. The included bulb has a power rating of 18 W, a length of approx. 59 cm, and a diameter of approx. 26 mm.
The fluorescent tube is not permanently integrated into the light and can be replaced if necessary by a technically compatible T8 bulb with a matching G13 base and corresponding dimensions.
Compact 63 cm light strip for smaller areas
With dimensions of approx. 625 × 40 × 62 mm, the light strip is significantly more compact than classic 120 or 150 cm workshop lights. This makes it particularly suitable for smaller rooms or specifically targeted work areas.
The linear design allows for space-saving ceiling mounting above workbenches, work surfaces, or in passage areas.
Robust white metal housing
The housing of the light is made of metal and is finished in white. The simple construction is designed for functional use in workshop, storage, and utility rooms.
The light strip does not have a pivoting light source and emits light directly via the installed T8 tube.
230V ceiling light for dry indoor areas
The Briloner light strip operates on 230 V and is intended for ceiling mounting. With an IP20 protection rating, it is suitable for dry indoor areas.
