Which light color goes where?

Warm white (2,700–3,000 K) feels cozy and is ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, and dining rooms. Neutral white (4,000 K) appears clearer and supports concentrated work in the kitchen, bathroom, and home office. Daylight white (from 5,000 K) comes closest to real daylight and is suitable for work areas with high demands on color rendering, such as at a vanity mirror or drawing table.

Color rendering (CRI)

For most living rooms, a color rendering index of Ra 80 is perfectly sufficient. Those who want to perceive colors particularly naturally, for example at the mirror, in the kitchen, or in the study, should choose models with Ra 90 or higher.
