Collection: Indoor lighting – LED lights for living room, kitchen, bathroom & more

Good interior lighting does more than brighten: it defines zones, creates atmosphere, and accompanies daily life with the right light at the right time. Here, you will find a curated selection of interior lights for every room, every style, and every function – from simple ceiling lights to architectural track systems.

Which type of light suits you? – A quick comparison

Light type Ideal for
Ceiling light General lighting
Pendant light Dining table
Wall light Atmosphere
Floor lamp Living room
Table lamp Sideboard
Spotlight Accents
Recessed spotlight Modern ceilings
Track system Flexible lighting

Which light is right for you?

Ceiling lights: Uniform general lighting – efficient, stylish, and space-saving. The foundation of every lighting concept.

Pendant lights: The eye-catcher above the dining table – providing zoning, design focus, and atmosphere.

Wall lights: For hallways, stairwells, and indirect room staging – light with depth rather than just brightness.

Floor lamps & Table lamps: Flexible light helpers by the sofa, on the sideboard, or at the desk – easy to move, instantly cozy.

Spotlights & spots: Directional light that creates accents and brings details to life.

Recessed spotlights & track systems: The answer to modern lighting architecture – minimalist, well-thought-out, versatile.

LED strips & under-cabinet lights: Indirect light and functional illumination for furniture, kitchens, and decorative installations.

Mirror lights & desk lamps: Precise light where it is truly needed – at the mirror and at the workplace.

Interior lights for every room

In the living room, it is best to combine a ceiling light, floor lamp, and table lamp to create different lighting zones. In the dining room, a pendant light above the table provides a central focal point. In the bedroom, wall lights or bedside lamps complement soft, dimmable general lighting. In the children's room, robust, eye-friendly lights are suitable for studying and playing. In the kitchen, under-cabinet lights and ceiling spots provide functional work light on the countertop. In the bathroom, mirror lights with the appropriate IP rating provide daily basic illumination. In the hallway, wall lights set subtle accents along the path. In the basement, garage, or damp rooms, robust moisture-proof lights provide reliable functional lighting. On the balcony and terrace, weather-resistant models extend interior lighting to the outdoors. In the study, a desk lamp ensures eye-friendly, focused work.

Interior lights for every interior design style

For modern living concepts, clear, reduced forms without playful details are suitable. The industrial style thrives on raw metal and visible sockets. Scandinavian interiors focus on light, natural forms, while country house styles prefer wood details and classic fabric shades. Vintage lovers opt for mouth-blown glass and filament bulbs, while retro fans go for nostalgic shapes from past decades. The Art Deco style scores with geometric shapes and shiny surfaces, while boho interiors benefit from organic forms and natural materials.

The three layers of a good lighting concept

General lighting provides the even base illumination of a room, usually via a ceiling or pendant light. Task lighting is specifically focused on an activity, such as a desk lamp or under-cabinet light above a countertop. Accent lighting deliberately sets highlights, for example on a picture, a shelf, or a niche, usually via spotlights, wall lights, or recessed spotlights. Only the interaction of all three levels makes a lighting concept truly complete – a single ceiling light alone feels flat and uninviting in most rooms.

How many lumens do I need per room?

Room Recommendation
Living room 100–150 lm/m²
Kitchen 250–300 lm/m²
Bathroom 200–300 lm/m²
Office 300–500 lm/m²

Which light color goes where?

Warm white (2,700–3,000 K) feels cozy and is ideal for living rooms, bedrooms, and dining rooms. Neutral white (4,000 K) appears clearer and supports concentrated work in the kitchen, bathroom, and home office. Daylight white (from 5,000 K) comes closest to real daylight and is suitable for work areas with high demands on color rendering, such as at a vanity mirror or drawing table.

Color rendering (CRI)

For most living rooms, a color rendering index of Ra 80 is perfectly sufficient. Those who want to perceive colors particularly naturally, for example at the mirror, in the kitchen, or in the study, should choose models with Ra 90 or higher.

Materials

Glass provides lightness and interesting light reflections, especially with mouth-blown designer lamps. Metal and aluminum stand for clean, modern lines, while wood adds a warm, natural touch to the room. Fabric shades scatter the light particularly softly and comfortably; rattan rounds out the assortment for an organic, bohemian-like look.

Why LED interior lights?

LED is now the standard in almost every new interior light. LED bulbs consume significantly less electricity than classic incandescent or halogen bulbs, have a very long service life, and generate almost no heat. At the same time, they reach full brightness immediately and are therefore particularly low-maintenance.

Smart home-compatible interior lights

Many users are looking for interior lights with Zigbee, Wi-Fi, app, or Alexa connectivity to control lighting conveniently via voice command or smartphone. In our current assortment, we mainly carry classically switchable or dimmable lights. Those looking for a smart solution can use a smart LED bulb for models with replaceable bulbs and upgrade the control system that way.

Ceiling light or pendant light?

Ceiling light Pendant light
Sits directly on the ceiling Hangs freely in the room
Even general lighting Targeted focal point, e.g., above the table
Ideal for low ceilings Ideal for high ceilings & spacious rooms

A ceiling light is particularly suitable for low rooms or when uniform general lighting is the priority. A pendant light, on the other hand, sets a design accent and is excellently suited above the dining table or in rooms with sufficient ceiling height.

How to plan your lighting

Start with general lighting, usually a ceiling or pendant light, which evenly illuminates the room. Then add task lighting where specific activities take place, such as at a desk or on the kitchen countertop. Afterwards, add accent lighting to specifically highlight pictures, shelves, or architectural details. Round off the concept with decorative lighting, such as fairy lights, a table lamp, or an LED strip, to give the room additional warmth and atmosphere. This creates a thoughtful, multi-layered lighting concept instead of just a single light source.

What you should consider when buying

Good interior lighting thinks in layers: general light, accent light, task light. Warm white light (2,700–3,000 K) creates coziness in the living area; neutral light (4,000 K) supports concentration in the kitchen and office. Dimmable light gives you control over both worlds – you can find suitable dimmers in our accessories. And in the end, the right light bulbs are just as decisive as the fixture itself.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I plan a good lighting concept for a room?

Combine general light (e.g., ceiling light), accent light (e.g., spotlight or wall light), and task light (e.g., table or desk lamp) instead of relying on a single light source.

Which light color fits which room?

Warm white light (2,700–3,000 K) is suitable for living rooms and bedrooms, neutral white light (4,000 K) for kitchens, bathrooms, and work areas.

Which light is suitable as a main light source?

Ceiling lights or pendant lights are best as general lighting because they illuminate the room evenly.

How do I combine different lights with each other?

Pay attention to a shared material or style concept, such as the same metal finish for ceiling, wall, and table lamps, so that the room looks cohesive.

Which interior lights are dimmable?

Many of our interior lights are dimmable-compatible. Pay attention to the product details and combine them with a suitable LED or halogen dimmer if necessary.
